TGIF @ GReads is a weekly meme hosted by GReads. This week’s question asks:
Christmas in July: If Santa were to come down your chimney in the middle of summer, which books would you want him to leave for you under the tree?
Ah, wishlist talk! I love to talk about the books I’m craving because I get to reread the reviews that made me want them in the first place. I picked a random number and figured out the top 5 I wish Santa would bring me if he visited me tonight. If he does, I hope he skips the fur suit and instead opts for some shorts and a t-shirt. And that he looks like Chris Hemsworth.
On the Island: A Novel by Tracey Garvis-Graves – This has gotten great reviews and I love the idea of 2 people starting a forbidden love affair in such unusual circumstances.
Such a Rush by Jennifer Echols – A well-done romantic triangle with a strong female protag? Sign me up, please.
Smart Girls Get What They Want by Sarah Strohmeyer – It’s been a while since I’ve read a book about friends and this one sounds fun and a bit quirky.
My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick – The boy next door. Le sigh. Ever since Lola and the Boy Next Door, I’ve had a thing for boys next door.
A Midsummer’s Nightmare by Kody Keplinger – A contemporary (my favorite) coming of age story by the author of Shut Out. Win.

I really hope Santa brings you Such a Rush and My Life Next Door!! They are both in my top 5 reads for this year so far. I have heard really good things about On the Island, too.
Please update your TGIF image to the one I use on my blog, thank you!
I really hope you get Such a Rush & My Life Next Door. Both books are BRILLIANT. I absolutely adore them! And I’m excited to read On the Island.
